Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Novo Mundo 5D (company: RH Writer & Gemstones LTDA, Brazil) collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you use the website novomundo5d.com.br, the NM5D app (web and Android), the books we sell and related services.

We operate under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and follow the guidance of the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

1. What data we collect

1.1 Data you give us

• Account: email (required), name, date and place of birth (optional, used for Numerology and Jyotish calculations).
• Family: name, date and place of birth of people you add in the Family feature (for compatibility calculations, always optional).
• Purchases (books and Premium subscription): handled by our payment partners, Eduzz and Asaas. We do not store card numbers on our server. When you buy a book, Eduzz collects your payment details at checkout and sends us your name and email so we can deliver the book. For customers in Brazil, the tax ID (CPF) given at checkout is used for billing and to issue invoices, as the law requires.
• Messages and feedback: anything you send us through the contact form or support.

1.2 Data collected automatically

• App usage: mantras played, frequencies listened to, favorites, offline downloads (to show your history and suggest content).
• Push notifications: browser / Firebase subscription ID (needed to send alerts about new mantras, Schumann peaks, the new moon and so on).
• Device: device type, operating system, language, time zone, screen.
• Approximate country: looked up from your IP address on our own server, only to choose whether the site opens in English or Portuguese.
• Analytics: pages visited, session time, interaction events (Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel, only with your consent).
• Essential cookies: session token, theme (light/dark), language, progress markers.

2. How we use this data

• To calculate your Vedic birth chart, Numerology, the 13 Moon Synchronary and Family compatibility.
• To play mantras, save favorites, track progress and download for offline listening.
• To send the notifications you opted into (new mantra, moon, Schumann, messages from Ruslan).
• To deliver the books you buy and give access to the Premium subscription.
• To answer your contact or support requests.
• To understand how the app is used and improve it (aggregated analytics).
• To meet legal and tax obligations in Brazil (Federal Revenue, ANPD, electronic invoices).

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or trade your data with anyone. We share it only with partners that run a part of the service:

• Eduzz: checkout and payment for books and the Premium subscription.
• Asaas: payment processing and recurring billing for Premium subscriptions in Brazil.
• Brevo: marketing and transactional email (marketing only for those who opted in).
• Google Firebase: push notifications on Android.
• Google Analytics 4 / Meta Pixel: usage metrics (only with your active consent).
• HospedaInfo: the server where the data is stored (Brazil).
• eNotas: electronic invoices (required by Brazilian law).

Each partner has its own privacy policy.

4. Where the data is stored

All account, family, reading and settings data is stored on the HospedaInfo server (Brazil), in an SQLite database, encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.3).

Downloaded mantras stay only on your device (IndexedDB) and never go through our server after the first download.

Server logs (Apache, PHP) are kept for up to 90 days and deleted automatically.

5. How long we keep it

• Active account: while you use the service.
• After you delete your account: personal data removed within 30 days. Invoices are kept for the legal period (5 years, Brazilian Tax Code, art. 195).
• Backups: rotated every 90 days.

6. Your rights (LGPD, art. 18)

At any time, free of charge, you can:

• Confirm whether we process your data.
• Access your data.
• Correct data that is incomplete, wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to anonymize, block or delete data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed against the LGPD.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured format to take to another service.
• Delete data processed with your consent (except what the law requires us to keep).
• Know who we share your data with.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.
• File a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

7. Cookies and similar technologies

7.1 Essential cookies (always on)

Needed for the site and the app to work: session token, theme, language, scroll position, last-read marker. Without them the app breaks.

7.2 Analytics cookies (opt-in)

The first time you open the site or the app, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel). If you decline, these cookies are not installed and no data is sent to these platforms.

You can change your choice later in the app settings, under Cookies.

8. Security

• HTTPS/TLS 1.3 on every connection.
• Passwords stored as bcrypt hashes (never in plain text).
• Session tokens expire after 30 days.
• 6-digit one-time code to confirm login on a new device.
• Regular encrypted backups.
• Server access restricted to SSH keys (no passwords).

9. Children

NM5D is meant for people over 13. If you are responsible for someone under 13 who may have created an account without permission, write to novomundo5d@gmail.com and we will delete it right away.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy as the service grows or the law changes. Important changes are announced by email and inside the app. The date of the last update is always at the top of this page.
